Dave Matthews

Last night while preparing dinner, the topic of concerts came up. We were talking about how Dave Matthews Band said that they were going to "take three years off" but have instead had summer tours every year. Now, I know not all the readers out there have been to a Dave concert, but many of us in the house have, including Kazu. So when the topic of Dave concerts arose, I couldn't help but to laugh in remembering Kazu's review of the 2009 summer tour. To those of you who saw him that year, and to the readers who are considering seeing him in the future, I am here to provide you a 'special' review of Dave Matthews Band on tour, from our very own Kazu.

To give you a little more background, what I am about to tell you occurred in the study room on second floor of our residents hall when we first discussed the 2009 Dave concert. A few members of the 510 crew had gone to the show, and after the concert ended everyone returned home to the study lounge to finish up work, and hang out/discuss the concert. So of course the obvious question arose from the gathering audience: "So how was the concert?" A typical question would normally call for a typical response such as, "good" or "amazing" or even, "It brought me to tears, best concert ever!" But our good friend Kazu decided that those responses weren't good enough. No, instead he decided to speak from his heart replying, "It was so good that I was poopin' out my pee hole."...WHAT!?!...Yes, this was the review given and we are all still baffled by the meaning. So if you plan on seeing Dave in any of his upcoming tours, then I can assure you that if Kazu is right, you are all in for a very good time.
