Midas Touch

DJ Sweets and I were contemplating about buying this beer for a while. This 2700 years old recipe came from a cup of King Midas' possible tomb. Midas Touch is a handcrafted ancient ale, and according to a Penn archaeologist's analysis, it is made with barley, white muscat grapes and saffron instead of hops. It has the taste of a lager, but the 9.0% abv this brew contains, gets it a little liquor-like, with a dry spice in the aftertaste. In the aroma, dry grapes and a little spice. In the taste, grapes. A spice bite and medium to light bodied mouthfeel. Quite spicy, and lots of fruitiness. Interesting. The price isn't an average Joe selection, but drinking this beer is an experience, and you should all try it!
